Queen Grimhilde: Snow White

Queen Grimhilde: Snow White
As you might already know Queen Grimhilde is one of  Disney's most evil Queens. What most people do not know is that she was bullied her whole childhood, by not only her friends but also her grandmother. She grew up in a evil world, where the outside beauty and being a demon on the inside was what was important to her grandmother. Queen Grimhilde was the child that no one liked, she was fat and ugly. No one really knew the real her though; she was the child that was open-hearted, and had a dream of becoming someone who her grandmother loved and respected. As she grew up, she was bullied enough that she decided that she had enough nerve to become the idea of what her grandmother wanted her to be: a skinny, young looking, beautiful girl, with a demon (evil) head. She turned fifteen just a few days after she decided this, so she joined a show called “The Biggest Loser.” From the start of the show, she was bullied even more because she was on television, but the human she was brushed it off and was set on her goal to be the perfect idea for her grandmother. Eight weeks later she was the skinny, young looking, and beautiful girl. And yet she had become the demon of her grandmother’s dreams. Every since then she has never let her grandmother down with going back to the open-hearted beautiful girl.

Hero - Understanding Beowulf

Beowulf is the only known oldest surviving Old English poem. The only copy known was written in the 11th century A.D. Beowulf was written as a setting taking place in what we now call Sweden, this was where the tribe the Geats lived: this story may take place in the early years of A.D. In Beowulf there is three main themes: Good vs Evil, Establishing Identity, and Courage.

A person's moral character should be held the highest because Someone could be a very kind and thoughtful person and really care about someone other than themselves, but they could have not physical achieved very much in their life span. Nor could they have intellectual qualities. The person could be not very bright, or have achieved very much, but they could be a hero to some.

Old English vs. Modern English

The Old English language, also known as Anglo-Saxon, has been spoken and written in England before 1100. In modern english most nouns are combinded into one, however in Old English each noun had it's own gender; masculine, feminine, or neuter. Verbs had a two different cases "weak" verbs and then "Strong" verbs, the ends on each changes the mood or tense of the person. Definite articles even had the genders attached to them. Although Old English lookes quite different from modern English on paper, once the pronunciation and rules of spelling are understood, many words are quite familiar to the modern ears. The English today still has some of  the roots that were used in Old English such as, water and earth. However, there are some words in today's english that has came from Old English but has changed meaning. The most common word is wif, old english, and wife, in Modern English. Wif use to mean any woman, married or not, but today's word wife means a married woman considered in relation to her spouse. Modern English and Old English is very different but yet very similar.

Part VI: Product of the USA

What should I have for dinner tonight? This is what I think every single night after a long, hard, rough day at work. Should I be a nice and great mom and wife and make an awesome home cooked meal, or should I stop by McDonald's and pick up the Titan meal for tonight’s football game. The titan meal at McDonald's is just enough for all four of us to big mac’s one for me and one for my husband and then a ten-piece chicken nugget for the two kids and then two medium fries for all of us to share. The slow home cooked meal will be so much better for our health, but the Titan meal is going to taste so much better and make the kids so much happier. Also, I will not have to wash dinner or clean up the left overs. This is the challenge I have to go through every single day.
